Candice Trebus was looking to expand her skill set and earning power when she ventured into the staffing industry in 2013. The Arizona State University graduate, and self-professed nerd, started as a tech recruiter for a boutique staffing firm before becoming marketing manager at Akraya Inc., and is now moving on from there. Trebus is enthralled with the industry’s untapped marketing potential and enjoys implementing new strategies for content marketing, collateral, social media and web management.
Trebus embraces a cusp-generation perspective; her work ethic is strictly Gen-X, but she also embraces millennial favorites such as social media, split-ticket voting, drinking coffee and new technology. When she’s not working or studying for her MBA at Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of business, she enjoys playing board games, video games, painting miniatures, as well as participating in sci-fi, fantasy or non-fiction book clubs. Trebus plans to use her MBA to enhance her marketing career.
