John Yurkschatt found an opportunity to unleash his entrepreneurial spirit, passion for winning and strong work ethic when he joined Direct Consulting Associates in 2012. Recruited by the company’s executive team, Yurkschatt started as a project manager in healthcare IT and was promoted to recruiting manager the following year. After launching the firm’s general IT practice, he now serves as director of IT and healthcare IT.
Yurkschatt’s strength is leading by example. He not only trains and mentors his team, he encourages them to step outside their comfort zone and vicariously enjoys their successes. He also nurtures client relationships and has been instrumental in helping the company grow. Yurkschatt has a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University and a master’s degree from Ohio University. In his free time, Yurkschatt enjoys fishing, attending local sporting events and raising money for individuals and families touched by cancer.
