Jordan Huck

Jordan Huck graduated from college in 2005 and joined the staffing industry in 2007. Since then, he has worked his way up to chief operating officer and partner at IT staffing provider Veritaaq, growing its Toronto office to 25 internal employees from zero. Veritaaq has ranked among the largest staffing firms in Canada, and last year ManpowerGroup Inc. acquired a majority stake in the firm.
Huck got into staffing after taking a four-month co-op term through his business school. The co-op term allows students to learn about an industry by being employed in it. The entrepreneurial nature of staffing is what Huck likes most about the industry, and his future plans include continuing to grow Veritaaq and taking the company to the next level. Outside of staffing, Huck enjoys spending time with his young daughter. What millennial trait does he identify with the most? The “desire to control my own outcomes,” he says.
