Tyler Benson drives innovative solutions within the wireless telecommunications staffing industry in her role as regional sales director at NextGen Global Resources. Responsible for a territory that includes Southern California and four Southwestern states, she consistently ranks as NextGen’s top performer in both revenue and margin growth quarter over quarter. Benson notes the importance of creativity in an industry where dozens of salespeople call the same clients to offer essentially the same services. “Using creative ways to connect with people and to obtain information — whether it is on social media or employing strategies to gather insight to better understand what is valuable to a customer — is the only way to be successful right now,” she says. Benson joined NextGen for the opportunity to learn from longtime experts in the wireless industry and hopes to progress to a management rolein the future.
She graduated from Boston University in 2008 with a degree in communications and a minor in business. Benson played softball for the university and credits the demands of collegiate athletics with providing her with the organizational skills to succeed. Now residing in Southern California, she and her husband enjoy playing golf and visiting the local beaches.
