Leah Bourdon was searching for an opportunity to unleash her competitive spirit and enjoy the financial rewards of hard work and success when her husband nudged her toward the staffing industry. Bourdon started as a technical recruiter for ALKU in 2011 and later launched ALKU Quality, a provider of FDA compliance and QA consulting services. As recruiting manager, she drove the division’s annual revenue to $29 million, which landed the company on Staffing Industry Analysts’ lists of largest clinical/scientific staffing firms in 2015 and 2016.
Bourdon currently serves as director of training and development and is spearheading the creation of ALKU’s new Center for Training and Development on the University of New Hampshire’s campus. Bourdon is known for having fun while working hard. She creates new initiatives and hires, mentors and trains new employees while meeting personal production goals. Bourdon graduated from Bowdoin College and enjoys spending time with her family and participating in CrossFit workouts.
