Originally intending to go into the legal sphere, Holly Holbrook ended up being drawn to recruiting while finishing up her undergrad studies at the University North Carolina, Chapel Hill, because “there isn’t anything better than helping people to get a job; it can change their lives.” She started in IT staffing with Queen Associates in Charlotte, NC, and transitioned to healthcare with Graham Personnel Services in Greensboro, NC, after a year.
Holbrook has worked as a recruiter for Graham Personnel Services since 2014. During her short career, she hasn’t just dipped her toes in the water, but has jumped in head-first, already serving on the board for the North Carolina Association of Staffing Professionals as director of certification for North Carolina, and leading a three-day annual conference for recruiters and owners/managers.On the civic side, she is a public affairs committee member and general member of the Junior League of Greensboro, as well as a program chair for Leadership Greensboro, a community-focused leader- ship program through the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce.
